Cobra ODE Full 5.30A
VERSION COMPATIBLE WITH ALL FAT, SLIM AND SUPER SLIM VERSIONS The Cobra team has released a new update for the Cobra Ode, a necessary update that allows you to validate the game selection without having to restart the console. But what is the Cobra-Ode and how does it work? Cobra is the name of the team (which has already developed the Cobra-USB dongle for PS3 capable of booting PS2, PSP and PSX ISOs), while Ode stands for Optical Drive Emulator, i.e. player emulator, therefore modification to the player. Operation on Firmware 3.55 is simple, using a special homebrew the player keys are extracted once the hardware has been removed, meaning Cobra-Ode will modify the player's firmware and not the PS3's since they are two separate things. Cobra-Ode features: Compatible with all PS3 titles. Compatible with all PS2/PS1 game titles on compatible consoles. Solderless installation on all FAT consoles and 20xx/21xx SLIM consoles. Quick and easy installation for 25xx SLIM series, 3000 SLIM series and 4000 SUPER SLIM. Supports all current OFW and CFW files, does not require 3.55 to be installed. OSD selection of ISO. Flexible and powerful embedded operating system. High-speed ARM and FPGA on board are upgradable via integrated update mechanism. PlayStation Movie supported. Additional hardware interface included to support future hardware add-ons, offering maximum flexibility of use!* Designed by the team that has brought so many firsts to the scene! * 3000 and 4000 SLIM series hardware SUPER SLIM series supported since launch * Produced in a high-tech facility = superb quality So to recap the Cobra-Ode will allow you to run your ISO bootups on your PS3 by mounting OFW and therefore allowing you to play safely online. Furthermore, the Team will most likely release 2 Tools: the Tool that needs to be started on the PS3 to extract the keys and the converter for Linux, Windows and OS X from EBOOT to ISO. The games will be started via a touch screen supplied with the Ode that will allow you to choose the game to boot from the hard disk from the internal hard disk of the PS3. But is it difficult to install? Absolutely not, the Team is preparing very precise diagrams to help you, furthermore there will be no need for soldering, it will simply fit into the Blue-Ray player. (For now this is expected).
