The X360key (also called xkey or xk3y) is an XBOX 360 player emulator compatible with any XBOX 360 model.
The chip allows you to load games, from an external hard drive or pendrive, saved in ISO format.
It is a valid alternative to firmware flashing and RGH modification especially because it allows you to play online without being banned.

By making this change you can start the console in two modes:

A: Absolutely not; the modifications are made to exploit bugs in components and system mechanics that are already designed to do that specific job. For example, the RGH modification introduces a delay (in milliseconds) in the time it takes for the processor to interface with and verify certain instructions; during this delay, the patched kernel (Freeboot) is loaded. Ultimately, however, the modification has no impact on the wear and tear of your console and does not cause any crashes.

A: It depends on how you want to play with it and with backups. If you play online, we recommend the X360Key; if not, you can use the RGH mod and fully enjoy every customization option on your console. If you want to go traditional, however, use the Flash BIOS mod on the drive.
