FreeHDBoot mod service for PS2 Fat consoles + OPL and PSBBN installation

This mod lets you boot games directly from the internal hard drive

The most complete mod for your PlayStation 2 Fat: we install FreeHDBoot on the internal hard drive, configure Open PS2 Loader (OPL) and PSBBN and return the console ready to use. Switch it on and your PS2 and PS1 games boot from the hard drive, with no boot memory card, no discs and no modchip: no soldering, no hardware modification, optical drive preserved.

What the mod includes

FreeHDBoot installed on the internal hard drive: the console boots straight into the modded menu every time it is switched on, leaving both memory card slots free for saves;
Open PS2 Loader (OPL) latest stable version, already configured to boot PS2 games from hard drive, USB stick or network (SMB), with cover art, cheats, compatibility patches and widescreen mode;
PSBBN installed and configured: Sony's graphical interface with icons, cover art and automatic organisation of PS2, PS1 and homebrew games;
POPStarter for PS1 games;
Homebrew Pack: uLaunchELF, wLaunchELF, HDL Batch Installer, SMS Media Player and retro emulators (NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Game Boy, Neo Geo, MAME and more);
hard drive correctly formatted and partitioned for FreeHDBoot, OPL and PSBBN;
full testing before shipping.

Internal hard drive

You can choose to use your own hard drive (IDE, or SATA with an adapter) or buy one from us by selecting the capacity above: we supply it already installed, formatted and partitioned. With a 500 GB or 2 TB hard drive you can store the entire PS2 and PS1 library.

On request we can pre-install your original games or set up the library to your specifications: just write it in the order notes.

Compatibility

All PS2 Fat consoles (models SCPH-30000, 35000, 39000 and 50000) fitted with a Network Adapter, which is required to connect the internal hard drive. If your console doesn't have one, contact us before ordering: we can supply it together with the mod. PS2 Slim consoles do not support an internal hard drive: for that model choose our PS2 FreeMcBoot Mod.
