PS2 Mod - Matrix Infinity Modchip Installation + Lens Calibration
PS2 Mod with Matrix Infinity Modchip + Lens Calibration
The service includes soldering the Matrix Infinity modchip onto the motherboard of your PlayStation 2, followed by calibration of the optical drive lens to ensure stable, reliable disc reading.
What the mod lets you do
- Boot PS1 and PS2 games from any region (PAL, NTSC-U, NTSC-J)
- Boot disc backups without Swap Magic or other external tools
- Run homebrew, emulators and unofficial software
- Access the chip configuration menu directly at power-on
- Boot from hard drive / memory card via dedicated software (depending on the model)
Lens calibration included
Every console undergoes laser power adjustment and a check of the optical sled. This drastically reduces reading errors, unrecognised discs and freezes while loading, typical problems of PS2 consoles with a worn drive.
Compatibility
- PS2 Fat — all SCPH-30000 / 39000 / 50000 models
- PS2 Slim — models up to SCPH-77000
- Not compatible with PS2 Slim SCPH-90000
If you don't know your console model, contact us before buying: the SCPH code is printed on the rear label.
